Contract HR Generalist Position. Heavy Recruiting with HR Knowledge.
Interact with employees as well as recruit for open positions.
2+ years experience in related field, Staffing, HR recruiting
Experience in running ads, conducting job fairs, calling potential candidates
To be successful in the role you will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of individuals. The ability to work as part of a team and work independently is essential, as is high attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of HR records and documentation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide first line customer service for HR related inquiries.
Ensure accurate and confidential employee data. Update and maintain HRIS system timely on an on-going basis. Serve as the super user for the team for HR functions as well as the Employee Self Service Portal. Organize and maintain paper records as required.
Training and Onboarding.
Work collaboratively with payroll specialist regarding employee status changes, special pay and policy administration.
Manage and reconcile benefit billing timely and accurately. Work closely with retirement plan administrator and Accounting department for plan contributions and distributions.
Assist with recruitment and on-boarding, such as pre-screening, interviewing, reference checks and new employee orientation.
Participate in employee wellness committee, and plan employee parties.
Complete various HR tasks such as employment verifications, data tracking and reporting
Provide administrative support to the HR Department to include ordering office supplies, maintaining office equipment, mail sort and distribution.
